SMG Tourism, Technology + Marketing Workshop set for March 17, 2010

South Lake Tahoe, CA – From blogs to social media, online video to social bookmarking, there is a vast array of websites and online technologies facing marketing executives today. Understanding where and how they fit into a marketing strategy can be confusing, even overwhelming.

Enter Strategic Marketing Group (SMG) of South Lake Tahoe, CA. Having organized a successful tourism conference for the past 10 years, which included a focus on technology, the company identified the need to expand this focus to a full day event. Thus the SMG Tourism, Technology + Marketing Workshop was born.

The inaugural event, to be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in South Lake Tahoe, California, will provide hands on sessions on a wide variety of technology topics. With two different tracks, for both those new to technology and more advanced users, the workshop will provide valuable basics for those unfamiliar with online technologies, as well as more advanced presentations for those who are already implementing online marketing strategies. Sessions will feature experts on such topics as online advertising, search engine optimization, social media, online video, mobile marketing and more.
