A logo and brand positioning statement developed by the Strategic Marketing Group (SMG) was recently selected for Leadership Lake Tahoe from numerous submissions. SMG developed the image and positioning statement with the goal of capturing the essence of the organization and the lifelong skills that are developed by the program participants. Based upon the Leadership Lake Tahoeandrsquo;s resounding success and impact in just three brief years, SMG created the positioning statement, andldquo;Vision. Integrity. Community. Action.andrdquo; to help promote the multiple strengths and benefits of the joint chamber program. Leadership Lake Tahoe was developed by the South Lake Tahoe and Tahoe-Douglas Chambers of Commerce in 2002. The primary goal of the annual program is to teach current and future leaders about the key issues and challenges facing the community and to develop skills for finding solutions that truly make a difference. SMG has been developing effective marketing strategies for a variety of tourism related businesses in Lake Tahoe and California and Nevada since 1992. A few of its clients based in Lake Tahoe include Ski Lake Tahoe, Golf the High Sierra, Ski Run Marina Village and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority.
