The 2003 SMG Visitor and Convention Bureau Marketing and Strategy Benchmark Practices Survey is a compilation of marketing information and strategies currently being implemented at visitor and convention bureaus in California and Nevada.
Responses were compiled from over 65 visitor organizations representing rural, urban and suburban areas with a variety of budget sizes. Included in the survey, which consists of over 40 different questions, is data about marketing strategies, Internet use, and sales and promotional activities. Designed to better understand the marketing activities of VCBs, the survey provides useful information to similar organizations in California and Nevada, allowing them to benchmark their own marketing activities.
The VCB Benchmark Practices Study is a valuable tool for marketing executives to use to assess their current marketing practices and stimulate ideas for new ones, andrdquo; stated Carl Ribaudo, President of SMG.
A comprehensive 53-page final report is available for $29.95, and includes graphs and tables evaluating results by budget size, along with the final conclusions. Two additional products are also available, including a Powerpoint presentation and a live presentation about the results by Carl Ribaudo. The Powerpoint presentation, available for $99 plus shipping and handling, offers the complete results with accompanying charts and the final conclusions.
A great addition to your annual planning meeting, the live presentation features Ribaudo providing a detailed presentation on the survey results, translating them into meaningful and useful information to assist organizations in formulating innovative strategies to maximize their success.
